Current Position

I'm recently completed my tenure in area of database analytics in with Zalando SE, head quartered Berlin. I'm involved with
1. Creation and maintainence of Data Infrastructure with major focus on end to end CRM data infrastructure and product recommendation logic for email?push notification based marketing campaigns. Additional tasks include Datamart design and development and optimization for Data mining jobs added with adhoc analyses on e-commerce data.
2. Database administration (MSSQL) and performance optimization within areas of Database technology (Exasol and MSSQL).
3. IT project management in areas of Budgeting and documentation.

Background

I have Master's in Information systems from Uppsala University, Sweden in 2013 and Bachelors's degree in computer engineering from Kathmandu University, Nepal. After completion of my master's degree, I worked as Research Fellow at Technical University of Munich until March 2014.

Prior to joining my masters program, I was working under at D2hawkeye Services limited (CMMI level 3 certified); a US based Software house that works on US health care data analytics for 32 months. My job tenure included work included research and development tasks such as design and development of standalone as well as Web based enterprise level solutions which had tasks such as ETL process, statistical analysis, normative data creation and benchmarking within the data mart or data ware house built over traditional relational database systems.
